Where we started
DayBy grew out of an ADHD assistance initiative started in 2014. We built it with children in Canada in mind first, though families anywhere can use it. The goal has not changed: help the adults around a child see attention clearly, day by day, instead of relying on memory and impressions.
For parents: less cost, more clarity
Simple attention checks should not mean high fees, time off work and a trip to an office. With DayBy your child plays short, game-like tests at home, on a phone, tablet or computer, whenever it suits your family. You can follow how things change after starting or adjusting medication, trying an alternative approach, or moving to a different education path, and bring a clear chart to your next appointment.
For schools and clinics: modern testing
Many attention tasks still run on rigid, dated software and dedicated machines. DayBy brings them online, in a browser, so students and patients can be tested in comfortable, familiar conditions. Results arrive on shared dashboards, and staff can follow progress between visits or across a school year.
Everyone on the same page
Parents decide who can see a child's profile. When they share it with a school or clinic, everyone looks at the same results and can talk in a private care-team feed. Everything works in English and French.
What DayBy is not
DayBy is an observation aid. It never makes a diagnosis or replaces professional care; that stays with qualified professionals.
